Hermann’s infinite blue.
Few people have the privilege of enjoying it every day.
When German Nobel prize-winning author Hermann Hesse came here on a visit in 1931, he described the magnificent landscape he saw from the top of the hills around Bergamo as “infinite blue”. This same landscape is the daily wonder Villa S. Agnese offers to those who live here: a view of Città Alta from an unusual angle,
the plains that – on a clear day – reach all the way to the Alps and Monte Rosa, and the charm of the softly rolling hills of Parco dei Colli with its lush vegetation. Few urban hills have managed to preserve the rich and composite magic of their landscape as beautifully as here.
